About Us & Our Story

Why we exist,

Kind Souls Foundation: Our Mission

To provide heartfelt emotional support, community connection, and practical resources that upli individuals and families during times of change.

Through each conversation, every collaborative effort, and every valuable recommendation, we foster compassion and create significant moments where individuals are acknowledged and supported.

Our History

Kind Souls Foundation was born from one woman’s lived experience, one friendship rooted in love, and one powerful belief: support should feel like support.

When Jenn received her diagnosis, she stepped into a journey that asked a great deal of her. Alongside medical care, she faced the many layers of navigating systems and resources—extra phone calls, delays, and support that often felt scattered and disconnected.

With honesty and heart, she would say it out loud:
“The system sucks.”

And more importantly, she believed it didn’t have to.

Jenn was an eternal optimist. She envisioned something more than a list of phone numbers or another handout—she wanted people to feel supported and understood in a real and personal way.

She knew others going through similar experiences deserved that same kind of support, too.

She began asking the questions that planted the seeds of what Kind Souls would one day become: Why does support feel so exhausting? Why does care feel so clinical? How can we show up better for people navigating illness or injury—especially when it affects their ability to work and reshapes everyday life?

Alongside her dear friend Teresa, Jenn began heartfelt conversations about what was missing—and how they could create something meaningful for others. Through those conversations, she recognized that full-circle, human-centered support and resource connection had the power to make a real difference in someone’s experience.

Today, Jenn’s spirit and ideas remain at the heart of everything we do. The vision, the heart, and the purpose behind Kind Souls Foundation were hers—and that vision is what her dear friend Teresa now carries forward—through Kind Souls Foundation, every single day.
